Stephanie Augustin, Ed.D, LBA, BCBA


Director of Operations

Stephanie is a Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 10 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities and autism. She began working in group home settings as a behavior specialist after completing a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University. She has worked in academia as an ABA instructor at the graduate school level and has worked in K-12 school settings as a behavioral consultant. Her post-master’s clinical training in behavior analysis training was completed at FIT.

Stephanie is the co-founder of Blossoming Behavior Applied Behavior Analysts. She was awarded a doctor of education in March 2019 from Northeastern University for her dissertation entitled “A phenomenological analysis of autistic children receiving applied behavior analytic services: A culturally and linguistically diverse parents’ perspective.” Her research and practice interests include disseminating applied behavior analysis to under-served groups and culturally diverse populations.


Shoba Bharratt-Gigantino, M.A., BCBA


Clinical Director

Shoba Bharratt-Gigantino is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and brings both a Psychology and Education background to the her work in Applied Behavior Analysis. She holds a Post Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Hunter College, a Masters Degree in Human Development - Psychology from Teachers College Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University. Shoba had an affinity for the sciences from a very young age and always wanted to work with children. This passion lead her to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and over the years of learning and working, she has made some of the most fulfilling relationships with individuals with Autism and their families. This journey in ABA has lead her through working with individuals in the home setting, clinical setting, and in the public schools. Her dream is keep bringing the principles of ABA to as many families and individuals as possible and to continue having a meaningful impact in their lives as well as hers.


Deviena Persaud, M.Ed, BCBA


Clinical Director

Deviena is passionate about serving children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She holds her Masters in Special Education and has over a decade of experience in the field of Behavior Analysis.

She is highly knowledgeable in various aspects relating to autism, behavior analysis and implementation of behavior intervention plans. Deviena has an abundance of skills such as parent training, social skills, academic skills, self-help skills and functional communication skills. She is devoted to designing a curriculum and training future professionals in the field of behavior analysis. Deviena is dedicated and invested to ensuring families receive the highest quality care. She has provided services in settings that include family homes and schools through regular and special education classrooms.

Deviena furthered her education by obtaining her post-masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Cincinnati. Deviena grew up in New York City where she enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures both locally and globally.
